When Escazú Artisan Chocolates was founded eleven years ago, I would have never imagined where we are today. Every year we have grown, learned and evolved the way we run Escazú with all the challenges a small business can encounter.

2018 was most certainly the year of change: In March, as we celebrated our tenth anniversary, we redesigned our branding and simplified our name, giving our packaging and shop a fresh new look that boldly represents the product we are so proud of.

These changes gave us even more momentum to energize and refocus, with some behind-the-scenes ones occurring this past November. After being an instrumental piece in the growth of our business, Tiana Young has joined me as my new business partner. She possesses expert knowledge of our office operations, a deep passion for food and a great palate for bouncing fresh ideas.

Escazú Chocolates is now – very proudly – a 100% woman-owned business. We will push Escazú Chocolates forward, without ever losing sight of who we have been, continue to be and aspire to become.
